Default So I read the Offset thread...

but like many, I'm still a little confused... especially since a lot of posters contradict others...

I'm looking into a set of Enkei wheels that are:

Size - 18 x 7 1/2

Offset - 50

This is about the closest thing to "perfect" that I could find... I would actually prefer to get 17's but the offset isn't as close to what it should be... They are:

Size - 17 x 7

Offset - 48

Am I correct in thinking the the 18 x 7 1/2 is going to be better for my bearings and closer to stock??

Thanks!

I would say that wa 18x7.5 w/ +50mm would be safe to run as most 7.5 wide wheels are +48mm offset (ie.. Provdrives, Rota's and others)

I myself am looking at 18x8 w/ either a +50mm or +51mm offset for my wagon w/ 225/40/18 and trying make sure no rubbing will occur.

Hope this helps ya out..

thanks, I actually forgot to ask about the rubbing... would that be an issue with my choices?

Thanks!

an 18x7.5 wheel is almost useless

a 17x7 is only good for winter use, really
