Default Problem with datalogging

Well, I installed Romraider/logger, EcuFlash and the latest version of Java along with the appropriate definitions. I ordered the stage one map from TP to flash onto my car. Once I got my tactrix cable I plugged into my car to read the factory ROM. Everything worked great, read the ROM and saved the file. I then uploaded the TP stage one map and flashed it onto my ECU using Ecuflash. This all worked great and went as planned. I then selected the suggested parameters to log from TP, and took my car for a ride and recorded the datalog session. I set up the location as to where I wanted the data log files saved. When I try to open the data log file, it doesn't work. If I search for it within Romraider logger, the file doesn't even appear. I can find the file by going into the folder it's saved into from outside the logger program, but none of my software can read the data log file. If it's any help, I noticed the file saved as a .csv file.

This is frustrating me as everything else is working great. Even the logging itself is working, I just can't open and view my saved data logs. Any ideas?

Okay, I may have figured this out. Am I supposed to view my data logs in a google spread sheet? I just loaded one up on google docs and was able to view my log. I noticed other logs posted in here were set up as spread sheets on google so I gave it a shot and it worked.

I was expecting being able to play the log back in real time similar to how flashpro works. I do have some experience with flashpro and thought it would be somewhat similar in playback.

So I am correct? Do we view our data logs in spread sheet format after they are saved?

i too am new to this and so far yes that is how you view them. it kinda sucks to not be able to play them back like hptuners but you have the ability to load the data into other spread sheets to manipulate data.and the price is right.

Your excel program should be able to read it, if not update the program or go open office and download it free. It'll recognize the csv file.
