JSchell's 2011 SSM STI Hatch

Hello all,

I'v had my hatch for about 6 months now. I feel it is time to document it and keep up with a journal. This will be refined and updated over the week as I find time.

This is my daily driver and I love it. I bought it bone stock and used for a price I couldn't resist.

Bone stock, love this dumpster at my work.

Updated today with new Bluebat's overlays. Rocking the OZ winter setup too.

That's just a quick place holder. I need to organize my collection of crappy cell pictures and I can post more on the individual upgrades.

Very nice! I like the direction you have/are taking. I'm sure you are going to love those Tarmac 2's!

I appreciate the kind words. I have a pretty good vision of where I want my car to be. It will just take time to get there. I like to do one thing at a time and enjoy it. Once I get used to how it feels it's time to move to the next part. Slowly build it up to how I want, and enjoy the process.

And yes the coils look great. I am going to clean them up a bit over the winter before I put them on. They were used so just a little road grit in them. I live about an hour away from Heartland Park Racetrack in Topeka KS. Can't wait for the open track days next spring.

Newest picture. Taken with iPhone 5 and 2 exposures merged in Photoshop. Then messed around with contrast, brightness, and what not. Still learning PS and loving it.

I think it turned out not bad for a cellphone and newbie PS skills. Maybe a little overdone

(constructive) criticism welcome.

That engine looks so nice. I have a thing for nice clean looking engines.

This is my way of making a "budget" build. I generally try to find all my parts in the Classifieds on the local and national forums. I like finding a home for parts that have been treated well. Bud Light?! Really?

Love the car! lol. I like relatively stock cars with minor mods and progressing from there. Yours are done very clean. I'm not a big fan of people buying a car, then completely gutting every little thing and rebuilding everything. I dunno, it's just me.

I've got the same floor jack, along with a lot of people. Works great!

I'm from St. Louis and recently out of college, so bud light is the cheap alcoholic water that I am used to

. Thanks for the compliments. I like making small changes here and there and enjoying them while I can. If I just change it all at once then I will be bored in a few months and want to move on. This way the car constantly feels "fresh" and gives me a new reason to enjoy the daily commute. And got to love harbor freight for cheap "quality" tools!

looks great man, I'm trying to head in a similar direction as you; slowly modding the car cleanly from stock... Hard to find good parts though for a decent price if you are on a budget

. If you don't mind me asking, how much were your oil pressure gauge and boost gauge? I've been trying to find these for a while for a good price but can't seem to find many...
