First off my car feels a little looser at the steering wheel, and "seems to be affected buy bumps" and what not more than before "like steering wheel movement??" I brought her in for a all wheel alignment and they only did a front end alignment? Now one question is do our cars always need an all wheel alignment? I get one done once a year or so. Is it just im being use to the all wheel alignment feeling compared to just having the front end aligmment done like they did?
Is their Any symptoms of them pulling a fast one on me as far as what the car should feel like driving down the road.. Seemsto "pull to the contour of the road more" some insite would be helpful.. And I did search the web with no really great answers to my issue Thanks

You can custom align anything you want. They do 4 wheels alignments to bring everything within factory spec and so that they are within 0.1-0.2 degrees of the other side.
I'd look into something for bump steer correction since that's your symptom you're describing |

no AWD has nothing to do with needing a 4 wheel alignment. Though our cars do have a limited amount of alignment adjustments in the rear, the most noticeable change will be the front alignment. Bump steer can be reduced or exacerbated based on your front end alignment.
Is your car lowered? The change in suspension geometry from lowering too much will cause bad bump steer. toe out, and inadequate caster can cause the car to have bad bumpsteer and not want to track straight as well. did the shop give you a print out with the post alignment specs? I would bring it back and ask them to possibly set the toe in a little bit (caster is non adjustable without aftermarket components), because the car drives unpredictably after their alignment. |

Hey thanks for clearing that up a bit on alignments.. and my car is not lowerd btw, so as far as "bumsteer" goes what can I do to get rid of that play in the steering wheel? I swear before when I got an Awd alignment I didnt notice the wheel being so sensitive to small bumps and what not any of this make sence to you guys.
Thanks And p.s I will never lower a car ever again it dosent make sense up hear in northern Michigan lol |

If the wheel is already within spec, why mess with it? Front or all wheel alignment depends on what isn't within spec.... rear don't steer so don't need as much attention from normal use.
