Default flashing cruise control light?

I've been running torque performance stage 1 for the past 3000 miles.. it's a 2012 WRX no other mods. when I turned on my car my check engine light was on, ABS light was on ,and my cruise control light was flashing. I turn the car back off turned it back on, and the ABS light was off but now my traction control light was on check engine light was still on and my cruise control light was still flashing. With my access port I checked for codes and there was nothing there !I reset my ECU and uninstalled my flash and my car seems to be back to normal. drove home with no reoccurring lights coming on should I get this checked out have you guys ever had this happen? Thank you

A flashing cruise control light just means that your check-engine light is on.

I'm guessing that you made a mistake with the AP when you checked for codes, because I no of no other reason for the CEL to light up.

If the problem was the tune, then you've fixed it. If you don't see the problem for a few weeks, try putting the tune back on, and see if it happens again.

But if the problem was a failing sensor or some other electrical or mechanical problem, then the light show will return when the ECU rediscovers the problem. When it does, double-check for codes. Triple-check if that's what it takes. Without the codes we can only guess.

I know ... freaked me out... coldest night since I bought the car.. tune has been checked twice with logs periodically by Torque performance over the last 3k.. car ran fine.. and it occurred after coming out of a store and restarting... I'm so frustrated I love my car... but latly I find myself worrying more about it then enjoying a nice spirited drive.. then this happened lol

Ands when I saw no codes I was actually kind of pissed because I was hopping it was something stupid like a gas cap.

I had the same issue. I was driving on a damp day and my reasoning for the light coming on was condensation on my MAF. cleaned, pulled negative battery cable to make the CEL go away. No since issues (~5000km).

Post back with how you make out at the dealer.

If the problem was caused by the tune, the problem is now gone, and you're asking the dealer to look for a problem that is no longer present.

Do damp days normally cause CELs for Subarus? I had no idea.

He doesn't know what code caused his CEL, you don't know what code caused your CEL. I think it's a mistake to assume that you've both got the same issue. It could be, maybe. But there are hundreds of codes that could cause the CEL to light up.

It's like he missed a phone call last week, and you missed a phone call last week, and you're assuming that the same person called both of you... because both of your phones rang.

The ECU does not turn on those lights without a code being stored in the ECU.

Curious if you told the dealer about your tune and if they gave you hell about it?

I detuned ... they never asked so I never told

But since I tuned back with no problems.... stock is surprisingly spongy and frustrating compared to TP stage 1..
