2012 WRX, Stage 1, 93 octane map.

i reviewed the top 5 monitors and everything is within spec. is there some place to get more in-depth analysis of the the other 10 monitors?

Your boost is borderline high. Given that you still have a the stock catback, I would go ahead and reflash the low wastegate (LWG) version of your map as you may see even higher boost with aftermarket catback.

Boost control looks better. You do have some consistent minor knock even in this log. What gas brand are you using? Most have the best luck with the so-called "top tier" gas brands.

hi Bill, i filled up with Sunoco (i think) last time.

i use 93 octane from the same 2 or 3 gas stations. i'm just below a 1/2 tank so maybe i'll fill up with some 94 over the weekend and try to take a few more logs.

ok, since the initial logs (overboosting) i've had the cat-back on and removed, so i can't even honestly tell you which exhaust was on the car.

it's the same gas that was in there though. i'm down to a 1/4 and will fill up soon. ****! but i'm seeing the same knocking in a WOT and over boosting.

i have some computers issues i'm working through (yes, both my computers), but finally pulled these off the AP to my desktop.

i'm not even going to pretend that i know, but i'm just looking at the top 5 and what the tolerances are... as you can see, some of these were in a WOT in 3rd, while some were just cruising around.

so i'm pretty sure i took them with the Q300 installed. i can get more logs after a fill up.

so my question is: it appears to be "safe" to drive around as long as i'm not in a WOT taking logs, yes?

the map is still the LWG map, Stage 2+intake - 93 octane. I have a cobb catted downpipe still, Cobb SF intake. no other mods.

i didn't realize i had so manny, i just bring the AP with me just in case an opportunity arises.

the knock looks worse.

i'll get some gas in there and redo. thinking about this more, i'm pretty sure they were taken with the q300 on. but it's back off (too loud).

the minor knocking looks worse on the other logs.

You'll want to move to a more conservative map. Let's try the 91ACN version of your map. There is a severe low wastegate (SLWG) version of the map you can download from the maps section at cobbtuning.com. Add the "Knock Sum..." values to your log list for future logs.

You also have some borderline extreme fuel trims. Could be nothing, but on a car this new, it could be an intake tract leak. I would get a pressure/smoke test of the intake tract done. There have been examples of leaks on these cars from the factory.

oh crap, i just realized i switched to the wrong map. these logs were taken with the Stage 2 + SF 91 CRAP CRAP CRAP. well, just in case they are usefull. this is on a full tank of Sunnoco 93 and the logs werent good anyway. ETA: just to be clear, this was the Stage 2 91 SLWG map.

I would go ahead and reflash the 91 ACN map for now. Make sure you are not using an ethanol-free gas, which will typically reduce knock resistance compared to the typical E10 gas.

The SLWG map was a little too much and you are underboosting now. 91/91ACN maps have different boost targets than 93, so in this case the LWG version looks to be more appropriate, so I would go ahead and reflash the LWG 91ACN and get some additional logs. Otherwise, nothing out the ordinary in your logs.
