You chart show full boost at 4500 on page 1.. Full boost on og greens is usually in the 35-3600rpm range. Look a few post down, juanmedina's logs show full boost at 4200 with a FP Black and 8cm

Don't know what to tell ya, all I can say is that the car is not laggy at all at least to my knowledge it doesn't feel that way. I will ask Mike to comment on the matter thanks for the reply.

That's on a 7cm hot side I'm running on a 8cm a bit more of lag is expected but honestly it doesn't feel it at all.

Yea according to the graphs I have boost coming in at 4200 and full boost at 4500 which is strange the car really doesn't feel that way. Ill try and have Mikey put in his input.

As long as your happy with it.
From experience with the green, full boost even with the 8cm will happen in the 3800 range.

I'm trying to get Mike to comment on this hopefully with a response soon. Ill take a look on a drive tomo but that log might be wrong there's no way I'm getting full boost at 4500 it's way before that I'm almost sure of it.

Lol you telling Jr what's normal on a OG green cracks me up. He's only been tuning them to run 11s since when 2004?

I had the first Subaru green ever built too (03ish).. lol and the 2nd one ever built by FP was on my DSM in like 99-00..

But yea, its seems very lazy from the graph posted. Again if you are happy, that is all that matters. Looks like good HP, back in 04 we went 11.4@117-8 with that power. Super fun to drive on the street

It sure is Junior it drives HARD! and I'm sure that if you know Mike Botti truly know him, you will know he knows his stuff. But it's strange I know I'm hitting boost sooner than that. "Shrug" don't know what else to tell ya both my previous Subies the 98 RS and 06 where on different turbos this was the first Green I have ever owned so I don't know everything but I'm not oblivious either.

Thanks Again Junior.

I know mikey pretty good.. up until like 1.5yrs ago he was a customer of mine

My RSTi with an OG green used to make me 400tq/400whp instantly in a 3k car was so much fun.. Wish I still had it like that.

Have fun in that thing, gets some e85 in it too!

Lol, yea I had my RS with a DOM 2.5 and it ran impressive but totally not as fun as 408whp lol. I plan I getting on juice one day I'm going to enjoy the car for a bit I feel like I have spent so much money on my build already I really have not time to enjoy the car so I'm going to chill a bit work on some cosmetic things I want to get out of the way and then jump back on power. First stop would be to forge the motor and built from there.

So Mikey was customer of yours in what aspect like he bought parts from you or learned tuning tips from you?

Are these spool times in 3rd or 4th. I would assume 4th. You guys do realize this dyno was in 3rd so it will spool later.

My Dom 1.5 10cm spools 21psi @ 4200rpm in 3rd gear which is similar sized turbo but ball bearing

As I said Paul, yes they both work and or tune out of EFI and they are both direct competitors in the tuning scene. Whether one has a bigger rep or more experience isnt in play here.

Just cause they might tune cars outta the same shop doesn't mean they work together.....

I am helping EFI Logics out for the time being. I am in no way shape or form associated with him or work with him, I don't see him, I'm not there when he is etc..

Compete? Not to be a dick, but I don't consider him my competition. Look at the fastest list for the last few years on here or other forums and you can see my competition.
When I start seeing his car or his customers putting down track times competing then I will start to see him as a competitor of mine.

In the mean time, he is just another guy tuning cars.

Wow this thread went to shhit in a hand basket! Hey Paul stop instigating shhit will you, this is not High school! We are grown men if you have nothing good or remotely productive to say get the fuuck off the thread thanks!

Competition is what is! There is no question Mike knows his stuff I can bet that if there was ever a EVENT for tuners to come in and tune specific cars for specific situations "HINT".."HINT"...MTV lol that Mike Botti would be on it. He's good! And he enjoys his work which is what sets him apart from "other tuner guys" if you enjoy your work then 100% of all your cars will be on point.

So again enjoy the thread and don't turn it into a cocck fight! Lol

Indeed they were from 3rd to 4th there's SPOOL LAG issue debunked...I did 2nd gear pull this morning and it was indeed in the 3200 when it came online and then full boost at like 4200-4300.

Guys, this was the only semi-clean plot I had to use. We were tuning in traffic. Full boost by 3500-3600 loading in 4th gear. This pull I believe was done in third starting from 3k rpm or so. No biggie.

Crazy how interweb drama starts, lol.

This car came out great, glad your happy bro!!

Happy Thanks giving guys,

-Mikey
