Default Invidia 4-2-1 manifold/up pipe

How much more of a PITA to install is the invidia 4-2-1 manifold being that the up pipe is integrated and not 2 piece...

2-piece units have never been an issue unless you have a warped flange, or you haven't a clue on the proper steps on installing a 2-piece setup... Or you like to reuse gaskets. ;-)

So yeah, stop spreading the myth of a "hard," to install but really a simple power adder.

I think you misunderstood the OP's question. He's was merely asking how much harder it is to install than a 2 piece. Obviously a 2 piece is easier to install because it's easier to maneuver to smaller pieces than one large assembly. Shouldn't be too hard to install the one piece IMO. Just lift the motor a bit which is easy.

Ouch!!!

I would just spend the extra money on the killer B setup. Much better quality and don't think the invidia would hold up for long before cracking.

As for either 2pc or 1pc header I would assume it would be the same putting either one in.

One piece is more difficult because the up pipe isn't separate from the headers.

Yes I know a 1pc has the up pipe and header attached but don't feel it would be any harder assuming everything lines up.

Once attached loose fitted it's just a matter of tightening everything up but like I said if everything lines up being the key.

I guess it varies depending on brand and style and more importantly your skill level. I've heard some people having trouble getting up pipes in without lifting the motor up a little. But then again, I've also heard a lot of people saying motor mounts are impossible on these cars which isn't true if you have the tools and experience. My Group N mounts took me barely a half hour to install but I'm also a master technician with $50k worth of tools and a lift at my disposal. Lastly, I'd steer clear of any Invidia headers anyway. The Tomei headers are of superior quality IMO.

Haha!! Yes skill level and proper tools r a must plus stubbornness to get it done.

Thankfully my bro has a shop with everything I need at my disposal but only after hrs unless I might get hung up on something he has a spare lift I can leave my Suby on just in case.

Those motor mounts were a b$tch at first with the 2 back bolts and got a luv ratchet wrenches lol.

Yes Tomei makes great stuff from what I've seen and heard and would definitely stay clear from invidia.
