Default Will '04 STI Seats Fit in '02 WRX ???

I have a 2002 WRX .... non-STI.

Will 2004 STI seats fit in my car on the stock seat mounts?

Or are a bunch of mods needed to make it work?

Thanks

Your '02 WRX seats are actually better seats than the USDM STI seats. Why did you want to change out your seats?

I am not sure if they can use the same stock seat mounts. If you wanted to check you could try talking to Subie Gal since she works in the parts department, she would probably know if they are the same part number or not.

If the 04 seats have the rails attached already they will bolt right onto your car.

1994-2007

Possibly 2008.

Stock '02 seats are better than any USDM STI seat unless you're a fatty.

Do a search on my name, you'll find pics. Condition is very nice/excellent/ to almost new.
They have been boxed away and out of the car for a year.

I don't think GC series STi seats will work unless you change the brackets. But for what he's looking for, he's good to go. If I was a guessing man, I'd say he wants the seats because they'll look nice in his WRB rex...it's a ncie touch.

BTW welcome to the forum and I hope to see you around the area sometime. Also, there are meets every tuesday night at applebee's on cedar crest blvd. There should be more info. in the Tri-state area.

Good luck

Because '02s hug your ass when you're driving and offers vastly more support. I'm 230 lbs and, despite how they look like bucket seats, I slide around on my STI seat like it was a bench seat.

+1 for how awesome my 03 seats are. I won't be swapping them out, at most I'll reupholster them someday with alcantara.

+1 for the comfort of '02-'03 seats. If they only looked a little more sporty. Oh well, I'd take them anyday over other Subaru USDM seats

There are ways you can fix this, such as modding your STi seat. It took me all of 30 min's and it feels like a completely new seat. It is way more supportive than my bugeye seats I used to have.

so older STi seats look better but don't perform better unless you are fat?
