Default car accident question

Some kid backed into my car last Friday damaged the rear passenger door quarter panel bumper rim and tire...i got a quote for $5000.00 for repairs is it possible my car could be totaled if there is any kind of frame damage...btw 2008 legacy 2.5i se with 85 thousand miles..i would appreciate any input..thanks guys..

No ah-fence buddy but only your insurance can tell you that. Of course it's possible your car is totaled, but that's all anyone can say who isn't inside your insurance company.

I was parked in a spot at a gas station and he was about 15 feet away...said he wasn't paying attention when he backed up..i didn't see it Coming so not really sure how fast but he had a GMC jimmy with minor damage..go figure

Only your insurance adjuster can talk with your body shop to determine what the total damage is to your car. Then totalling your car is on your insurance company based on their percentage.
In other words you won't find your answer here bud.

To our eyes, the damage didn't look too bad to our spankin new CRV with only 5k miles. Totaled. Depends on your insurance company and how aggressive they're going to go to bat for you. Our insurance has provided us awesome care every time we needed them. The Gecko, maybe not so much.
