Default difference in throwout bearings?

throwout bearing was making some noise, so i bought a new one from competition clutch fr my clutch kit. got the trans out to swap the TO bearing, turns out the clutch is pretty much shot. I don't really want to go wth another aggressive 6 puck clutch, as its my DD and i'm not putting down that much power. If i can get a different clutch setup (ACT or Exedy) for cheaper without a throwout bearing kit (ACT sell their products piece by piece without full kits), can I use my competition clutch throwout bearing I already have? Are the TO bearings kit/company specific? I'm assuming they are all the same or at least fit the same...

The only difference in throw out bearing sizes would be if you had installed the transquil thing. Then the throwout bearing would be different. Otherwise they should be interchangeable (and probably all the same piece anyway?)
