Im new to the Subaru industry and I wanted to know if its worth it swapping a 02 wrx motor to a 04-05 motor and if so what is the best one to put for the car. Any help would be awesome. Thanks

Why do you want to do that for? If you want to go for a swap, then I'd say go for the JDM Sti motor. Is your motor blown? Do you have a regular 2.5RS? Do you want more power?(02 is still the same 227 hp that the 04-05 has, so that wouldn't be worth it) Need more info as to why you want to do a swap.

Vague questions net vague responses. List your car, your budget, your car's intended new use, your reasoning behind a swap.....alll critical things, otherwise some asshat like me will recommend a Chevy 350 crate motor.

I bought the car with the engine having a couple of problems so I thought swapping the motor would of been better.
