Default Help With An Oil Issue.

Sorry for my lack of knowledge, lol. I am trying to learn the whole EJ25 engine. I have an 07 STi Limited. It has 55k miles on it. I upgraded my turbo to a Blouch 20gxt. I have everything else to support the 20g. I only had this turbo for 3 months as of next Thursday. Maybe 300 miles on the turbo, maybe! I have the engine broken down right now. Hubby is buying me a Stage 2 short block.

Problem is.. I have tons of oil in my intercooler. It seems to be pumping oil into there whenever I get into boost. I am reaching 23.9psi, what I am tuned for. Pistons, rings, headgaskets.. all look great.. What can my problem be?

I am not having NO smoke issues at all. Do you think it's my turbo seals that went out this fast, with only 300 miles on it? Or something else? Any, ANY advice please. I appreciate it Thanks!

Could be bad turbo seal, kinked turbo oil drain hose, or too much crank case pressure.

Thanks. I am just totally lost, lol. I have the engine apart right now. I have small shaft play in the turbo, but isn't that supposed to be there? Minimal play? I appreciate the help. I need my mommy mobile back up & running haha.

How much oil? Its normal for some oil to be in the intercooler due to the breather hoses and vents.

Check your pcv valve, make sure you can hear it moving around when you shake it.

Did you prime the turbocharger after install before driving it?

A little blowby is normal like wrxsubie said, A/O separator will solve that.

Goodluck!
