The screws on my door hitch keep coming off.
I first noticed it 8 months after buying my car from a used car dealership. There were only 2 screws in the holes, when there should be 3. One was loose. So I tightened up the 2 screws that were left. I check it again a month later. Both screws were loose, so I tightened them down again. A few weeks ago, I checked them again and they all were gone. Why the F#@% is this happening? ![]()

Or just put some loctite. I don't see why they would fall though. Is the mechanism misaligned in relation to the U pin on the car, and causing the lock pin to hit it the wrong way and make it shift/loosen? Did you have this door worked on at some point?
