Welcome to the forums.

There are a lot of meets out in LI/Queens area. Maybe during the spring/summer you can go check them out when you have time.

Thanks Monster! Probably going to keep it simple... but then again that is what I always say everytime i get a new car lol but basically... exhaust, down pipe, intake, solid tune and sticky tires. Tires are coming soon What are some good must have mods? I like doing the simple stuff first.

By "sticky" I hope you mean winter tires

As far as mods go, what is your budget and goal(s)?

Sounds like a good list of beginning mods seems you know what you're talking about lol. Just glad you didn't say you wanted to throw a bov on there! Have anything suspension wise in mind?

lol @ bov! I probably will think about dropping it the wheel gap makes my eyes sore haha but then again I need it to be functional in snow and not be a plow. I had H&R shocks on my acura which were really nice because I could adjust the stiffness. I am assuming my best bet for this car is going to be coilovers so I can adjust for function and show. Any good recommendations?

I would recommend suspension (sway bar and end links) + down pipe to start things off first (you'll definitely need a tune), this way you'll really wake up the car while improving the handling so you can actually use more of the car's available power.

I consider other mods to be more secondary and something to do down the road.

Don't be so quick to shoot down a good spring/strut combo! There's a lot of good set-ups out there but personally, I prefer coilovers. Coilovers are nice during the winter months 'cause you can raise the car up if you want. In my case, I'll remain snow plow status lol. I'm on Stance LX coilovers but there's a lot of brands out there. All depends on your budget, really! Being that I don't know your price range, I can't recommend you any lol.

Oh Yeah, tuning a Turbo car makes a world of difference, even if it's just a stage 1 tune, in your case a simple down pipe + tune would make it stage 2 and will make you wonder how you were ever satisfied with the car's power in stock form.
