Am I the ONLY person that thinks this is an insanely horrible idea? so rich kids parents are going to buy this not knowing what is in it(supposedly) and that kid is gonna kill his/her self and probably a couple of other people.

Very much so, but there is no way I would buy it without complete documentation of who did the work. But knowing this gorgeous car has a 90% chance o being wrapped around a tree makes me sick.

So, I should detune my car before I sell it? Even a great driver can kill themselves in a pinto.

Who cares if a parent buys their kid a 500whp car. In a parents eye, a sports car is dangerous no matter how much power it has.

So there's always a risk.

But if owned that car I wouldn't just let anyone buy it.
I'd be depressed if I had put all that money an time invested into it. Then its wrapped around a tree.
That Subaru is mint and only has 4k! miles. Pretty much perfect for the price.

^ What he said. If someone is willing to pay my asking price, I'd sell them my car. I don't care if it's a 16-year-old or a 50-year-old.

Why does it matter if the vehicle is 500WHP? If it does matter, do you propose all super car manufacturers to refuse any sales to young adults?

As others have stated, it does not matter how much power a car as some people do not know how to drive. People need to be accountable for their own actions. Dealerships move inventory to maintain their bottom line.

More importantly, who puts those ugly ass wheels with too small tires, on an STI?

FYI, any ford, chevy, hell a bunch of different the car brand dealerships out there, will sell a 500whp car, to anyone with the money to buy it. The new vettes put down over 500, the new cobras put down well over 500, I am sure there are ferarris and porsches that put down 500 or more, and if a 10 year old walks in with a briefcase full of cash, they will sell them the car.

What does it matter if its an STI?

Who cares? Cheap parts for everyone when the motor blows or it's parked half way through a tree.

Especially when it hits a pebble and there isn't enough sidewall and the tire just bounces.

Those tires look retarded. And who the hell buys 19" wheels anyway? Just go 20 if you want that big. Anything bigger than an 18 looks idiotic on an 02-07 impreza body to begin with.
