NOOB near Buffalo, NY

Well, I've liked these cars since I went to an autoshow a few years back.

My first attempt at an introduction got locked.

I just got 315/800 '07 Limited from a dealer in the Long Island area. Bad experience. I HAVE Googled and tried to track down the previous owner with no luck. Just trying to find out what's been done to the car.

Well, I look forward to learning more about this car and figured I'd join the community instead of just loitering.

Who was your dealer? Grand prix? Metric?

Thanks Guys. . Don't really want to bash the dealership, but it was Long Island Autofind. Plus I know there are areas where that type of thing belongs on the forums.

I'll definately get some pics up, but all's I have for now are pics from when it was on the lot. I guess I can't post attachments yet. I will when I can.

I love this car so far! But I hate that huge wing! Just my preference, it did block some headlights in the rear view morror though on the ride home. The anti glare must not have been on and I read the entire owners manual last night.

I didn't see anything close to me as far as the regional sub forums. Maybe I'm missing something; I probably am.

If you can't find the previous owner, I'd take it to a shop and get it up on a lift with someone who has experience with subarus. Once on a lift you can look to see if it has a turboback exhaust (tbe) or other mods to give you an idea what might be done to the car. Also I would change all fluids, get a boost gauge (if it doesn't have one already) and just go over the entire car. Post some pics

The limited didn't come with a wing, came with a trunk lip, wonder if someone swapped it.

Thanks, that's where a Google search landed me too. I posted that name (sean4528) and that person never existed. Doesn't make sense to me, but hey that's the internet for ya, lol.

Yeah someone must've swapped to the wing somewhere along the line.

It has a turbo back catted Cobb exhaust. I got an Accessport for it and I think it has a previous tune of some sort in the car already. The AP indicates uninstalled (usable), but it sees my car as a 2011 something or other, so I don't want to do anything. I think it would use whatever is in the car now as the stock tune and upload whatever I decide to go with.

I'd figure out the tune immediately and take it easy until you know what you have.

Well I went back and forth a couple times with tech at CobbTuning and they (I don't know if I should name drop) just recomended I overwrite the in car tune. I verified the turbo is stock and all other exh items except the TBE. Will see what happens.

BYW, I give up on tracking down the previous owner. Doesn't really matter now.
Also, just an FYI incase anyone runs into this. My AEM w/b was displaying a constant 14.8 AFR; long story short I re connected the harness on the gauge itself and it's working. I'd of never thought to look there, thanks google!
