Default STM Drag RS... almost finished. Must see!

STM has been working on this customer's car for quite a while, but after being gutted, completely stripped, shaved (quite literally) of all excess weight and painted... she's going back together again, and this car is just too awesome not to show off!

The photos mostly speak for themselves, and STM has a huge amount of custom fab into this car! The fuel cell, intercooler, radiator, cage, frame, turbo kit... So much time into this. It's got a fully built built AMS Block, and STi transmission.

HUGE props to Justin at Detective Coating! Turned around all the under bracing and manifold in amazing time! And it all looks awesome!

Big thank you to Torque Solutions for hooking us up with a big bag of goodies!

We are all hoping to have it out at the Evo/GTR Shootout in Norwalk, Ohio at the Summit Track August 17-18.

Enjoy and wish us luck!

-Shawna

Serious question, BC I really don't know. Why are the calipers so small?

All the sudden I hate my STi.

Great fabrication work and really nice welds on that aluminum! Interesting turbocharger location, and really stout cage!

When a parachute needs to be bolted to the back of an Impreza, things just got serious.

they're for drag racing. Minimal amounts of weight on those and you don't really have to worry about brake fade with drag racing. Plus there is a chute...

Awesome build, been following it for a while now in the custom fab forum. Can't wait to see some times.

Not to mention, smaller brakes equals smaller wheels which turns into bigger/stickier tires with a taller sidewall to absorb energy.
