Default Need Suby Shop in Queens - LI area for Oil Change.

I typically would go to the locals for a quick lube, my car just made it to 2000mi and I'm looking to go Mobile 1 5w-30s

However I know not all quick lube place may carry the WRX oil filter, any of you guys know a good place in Queens or LI that does oil changes at a reasonable price??

It's reaaallly easy to do it yourself, and it's an opportunity to bond with the car
The oil filter is a Purolator L14460, readily available at your local parts store. Purolator makes 'em for Subaru so it's essentially the same as the OEM one.
Don't ever go to a quick lube place, that's the equivalent of going to a witch doctor for surgery

2000 mi sounds kinda early to be putting in synth.

The WRX filter isn't anything special, you can use anything designed for pretty much any Honda/Acura.

I usually go to TMOC right across the street from Nassau Col. they are pretty good and I used to use 5-30 mobil 1 but was told it is too light for the car and use 10-30 mobil 1 now.

I use 5w30 in the winter and 10w30 in the summer, although in theory, 5w30 should be fine in the summer too.

I also use 5w30 in the winter and 10w30 in the summer. BTW, it is very easy to change the oil on a WRX. It should take 15 minutes or less.

yes it is very easy to change the oil...

but what i hate is the plug is on a angle. plucking oil always has a mind of its own.

but the good thing is. the oil spills out at like 400mph. oil is drained in like 2 mins.
