Default Check engine Code P0457?

This recently came on after replacing both gaskets for uppipe, any advice on where to start looking?

Moved to your specific powertrain forum.

Could be as simple as a loose gas cap or something more complicated. Up pipe has nothing to do with this code.

Do you smell gas fumes at all? Check for things like an open evap hose, loose gas cap, or the gas cap o-ring.

EDIT:
I probably won't be checking this thread again if you do happen to reply to it, so I'll just list more specific causes under this CEL code... check your drain valve (also known as a "canister vent valve"), check the hoses behind your alternator (you may have tugged one off while lifting the engine, if you did that is...), or maybe check the canister's purge solenoid. Hopefully it's something stupid like your gas cap being screwy, but it's probably related to the evap system. If you can't figure it out, bring it to a mechanic. Best of luck.

If not the gas cap. Check the evap canister and or the evap solenoid.

Check the evap solenoid by the charcoal can. Unplug it & put 12 volts to the solenoid if it dose not click then you found your problum
