Bump for Jason. Read about his car on iwsti. Love it!
Quick question. How many rear axles have you gone through with the Cusco 2 way?

Technically, I can say I haven't gone through any axles due to drifting, etc. BUT, I have gone through several due to my car sitting lower on one side than the other. I realized this mid-season last year, I was constantly breaking axles in the left rear, NEVER the right rear. One day, I went to investigate and I realized the left rear of the car was sitting slightly lower than the right rear. So, the bad angle of the axle put a lot of extra stress on it. I leveled the left rear out with the right rear, and I haven't broken an axle since!

Took a few pictures the other day. I'm really starting to get the hang of this whole photography thing again.

1st picture looks like the lamp is growing out of the car and the bike is rear ending it :P but, it takes thousands of pictures to get great, I'm still learning a lot myself!

Badass man, I have been watching out for new Vimeo videos of this car!

I'm also very interested in the hydraulic e-brake.. I want to do the dual caliper thing also and I looked at customize a stock backing plate a year ago but abandon the idea due to my GDB STI swap into my gc8. I have an custom e-brake extension that works but I'm fearing that the cable might be stretched. So I want to get away from it.

Thanks man. No new vimeo vids as of now, really want to make my own soon though.

I really loved my stock e-brake, it locked up great and everything for a decent amount of time. Until I had an incident and it didn't lock up on me... that's when I went the hydro route, I also wanted to feel more confident when pulling the e-brake. I only use my stock e-brake now for parking.
If I were you, I'd just go with the hydro and never look back. Just get the whole e-brake situation done with and out of the way so you don't ever have to worry about it again.

Yeah, when I do gymkhana, I notice that I have to pull a little harder to get the rear wheels to lock up. I will highly consider looking at that when I get back.. Thanks for the advisement.

I love how everything starts as an idea. When motivation take it's shape form , a little custom fabrication here and there makes everything possible. I think you just found another reason to love your STI more Jason lol. Isn't RWD wonderfull!!!

No problem, dude. I'm down to help anytime. Have you ever adjusted your parking brake shoes? It may just need adjusting, your cable may still be in good shape. I know I've adjusted my shoes when I still had my old setup, so that they can lock better and all.

Thanks man, and not that I know of right now. I know people make them for more common 'drift cars', but I haven't seen any made for subarus just yet.
