I must know more details about the carbon fiber.

How did you mix the paint, spray it, and how much did it cost?

As far as the pricing goes you would have to give IAG a call as I had a lot of work done besides the carbon. Sorry I don't have a specific breakdown of it all.

I do know it involved reclearing the hood, spraying the candy and then more clear. I am not sure on the exact amount of coats though.

And Thanks for all the compliments!

Awesome transformation brother, love the results. And that CF is inspirational. I wonder what it would look like with white.... :O

Hoping to do something similar to my car in the next 6 months or so. I am so jealous T_T

Seriously great work, and fantastic looking product!

Thanks again everybody. And yes I would say it was a success. Thanks goes to IAG as well for their superb work.

Now that the de-ricing is complete its time to add some structure to the car. Next up will be a cage, new harnesses and a audio removal and repurposing project.

Stunning. I wish I thought of the candy carbon. And I like how the black spoiler brings out the black in the cf. Amazing work.

Thanks!

The spoiler is carbon fiber as well. All the carbon changes color from black to blue depending on how the light catches it. I wanted it to be subtle enough so you would have to do a double take on it and wonder what color it was.

Question: Kicking around some wheel color ideas. I was going to go traditional with Gold, but I have been also thinking about chrome or even a nickel plating. Thoughts.

Yeah. I like that look too. Not sure if anyone local would be able to do that finish though.

Lol, that's funny. I still have some if those photos floating around as well. The good old days.

I think Copper Plating is the route I am going to take. As soon as they get a new wheel polishing machine I will send my wheels and intercooler pipes off to them to get done.

Leaning more towards this as a wheel color.
