Ok so I want to go to this, however my other suby friends don't want to tax their cars, and the other ones are pretty much all grown up(family kids mortgage etc).
This would be my first event, and I'm pretty familiar from what I read online about what I need to do/take.
My concern is have any of you gone alone for your first time?? I have a truck should I rent a trailer and tow my car?? Just show up, and hope for the best??

you wont be alone. met some real cool people last time i went. unless you have a really awesome trackcar, why not just drive there?

Don't bother towing your car. Just commute on over and drive like a sponge on your first day. Streets is such a newb-friendly track.

Don't sweat it. I usually end up going alone or bringing a fried as a spectator along. I meet folks there and hang out and have a good time. I also wouldn;t bother towing, just roll out there with what you need. Especially the first time. Keep it simple and easy so you can relax and make the most of the experience. If you forget something there's always someone around willing to loan or lend a hand.

Really, the only material you need to bring out there is an SA2005 helmet. Most orgs should have rentals available, but I personally rather drench myself in my own dandruff, not someone else's.

Yea I wasn't 100% sure. My job keeps my always thinking like ten steps ahead lol. Plus it would be nice if I could load my truck with all the crap so when I get there just unload the car and go ya know?!, but its cool.
