I know of a place that's likely vacant. It's called the inlet lodge. It's nothig special but it's a room with a bed.

I've stayed at the Flamingo for H20 past couple years. Rates are average and the rooms are pretty good. Haven't looked yet for this time of the year though.

That's a lot less than what Flamingo is! How is it quality wise?

another cheap place that ive stayed at before for both OCAWD and H2Oi. its a little out of the way from everything and is technically a block into the deleware line, but worth the price if they have a vacancy.

That's where I stay, great hotel. Pool "closes" at 11 iirc, but the gates stay unlocked and lit all night, always fun to jump in the pool late!

I just don't understand how the "ocean city" meet is now turned into the gateway subaru meet?!!?!!?? I'm lost.......people donating money for a meet that a dealership is hosting. but im not there for the so called meet,im there for the area in general.

I agree....I wish it was in OC too but I do get why they need people to pay. No one is forcing anyone to pay. But vendors need to be paid and food sure isn't free.

I get it.....I would like to see it back in OC though

The reason why we are charging is to pay for all the cost to run the event. There are a ton of things that we have to pay for that people don't see behind the scenes. The main reason why we have the main event at Gateway Subaru again, we are trying to build up enough money if any left over to rent a lot out in ocean city for 2014(Hopefully). We rented out 118th Gold Coast Mall lot this year for friday (in ocean city) and part of Sat. I've already been in the works of trying to secure a lot on the lower streets in Ocean City that would be big enough to hold all the cars. (Just a FYI) The money brought into the car show doesn't fill our pockets.
