Default Polar Blue Metallic RS6 By Audi Exclusive Graces Showroom Floor

Quote:
When it comes to family cars, the Audi RS6 has a pretty solid monopoly on what we see when we imagine the world's ultimate wagon.

Its main attraction is the 560 PS, 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) V8 and the performance it provides, yet this performance detracts nothing at all from the Avant's practicality as found in any other version.

For customers choosing an RS6, making it just a tiny bit more special with the help of Audi Exclusive can be very tempting.

This particular build features a Polar Blue Metallic exterior, Audi Sport titanium exhaust tips and 5-V-spoke alloys. It's great but you may want to wait until you step inside and experience all the Alcantara, carbon and Valcona leather surfaces.

There's Alcantara on the steering wheel, the gear shifter, door panels and roof line. The seats themselves are wrapped in Valcona leather whereas the doors, center console and dashboard share some carbon fiber bits. Also, there's blue contrast stitching pretty much everywhere, which is natural seen as how it matches the car's color theme.

2 Audis I would buy if they existed here:

1) Allroad with V8 Tdi
2) RS6 Avant

Audi Lines look clean, sporty, purposely built

Subaru - Not so much - looks off and squished down, and NOT Sporty....

I think it's how Audi pushed the wheels out to keep smaller overhangs front/rear....

Wheels are god awful on the Subaru.... Plus the Extra Small window in the rear door AND then the typical wagon window extension.. NOPE - Audi all day and 3x on Sunday!

Subaru has lost me - they are creating mundane pedestrian cars - which sell - but not what I'm interested in....

Cool story.

You buy the RS6, I'll buy two Levorgs and have money left over to lend you when the RS6 inevitably breaks down

I would also argue that the wheels on the Audi are god awful.

The Audi has more pleasing lines, the Subaru has better wheels.

having seen levorgs in person, on the road, the lines work better than what that picture leads you to believe.

There's no question that the Audi is a better car... but the levorg is 2/3's of the car for less than 1/2 the price. In the European market, the Levorg is the average man's RS6 Avant.

Well, yeah. I can still sell them for 80% or more of what I paid for them after 5 years of ownership.

I'd take an S6 Avant and a Levorg for the price of an RS6 Avant. Gotta go to the cluster**** natural grocery store and throw bikes and stinky crap in something that's not racing off the depreciation cliff. The S6 is so good, throwing a Levorg worth of add ons to it is unnecessary. Especially for a wagon platform. At least the E63 AMG s Estate has rear facer seats to help make up for it's hefty price tag, IMO. And that car IS available to purchase.

Also why so many luxury vehicles are leased, not owned.
The rich folk need the latest everything.

So, they needn't worry about residual value.

(coming from someone who's never leased a vehicle)

Fixed. Maybe for the wife and kids. And that dude has something serious against SUV's or Teslas to drop such coin on a hyper wagon. Merc is rogue selling special orders to special person.
