I've got some door panels from a leather kit to install in my 02 WRX wagon. Turns out, I kinda suck at it (already tried one myself). So I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a good (and cheap?) auto upholstry shop in the Boulder/Denver area. Or maybe you've already done it and would be interested in providing assistance on the install (with appropriate compensation, of course).
Thanks.

If it makes you feel any better, one shop in town quoted me $150...per door!

It's not really a blatant screw-up, in my case. The panel is installed, but the fit/finish of the new material is rather poor, I think. The corner nearest the B pillar isn't tight, and I have a gap on the uppper edge (the corner that supposedly "tucks" into the existing groove in the panel). Basically, it looks kinda half-assed, despite the fact that I spent 3 hours on one door.

Similar results for me. The material was smooth and looked good. I cut the whole pannel off the door, so I was able to get the material in pretty good at the top with no gap. Now though it is starting to peel off from the top and looks like total a$$.

Well I did one door last nite
Things went pretty smoothly, I'm just going to wait a few days before I start on the others to see if the top starts peeling like you guys mentioned |
