Hey guys, I have a 02 Wrx with xxr 527 18x8.75, with 225/45/18 tires.. First let me start off and say I know the 45 series r too big. Now my question is, when I turn the wheel all the way for a K turn or whatever, it feels like the car doesn't want to move. Car is on Coilovers but only the front is lowered a little. Fenders and quarter panels are rolled. No spacers. Is it because my tires are too big or because the rim width is too big? There is no camber setup in front along with the rear.. And please tell me a correct tire size for daily driving, I don't want a crazy looking stretched setup, just something nice and safe.. Thanks

Why did you start a second thread on the same subject?

Edit: scratch that. This is your THIRD thread about this.

That won't help you get answers, as will get you banned by the mods.

Don't be a ****in idiot.

You didn't tell us the offset of your cheap ass wheels. You also didn't tell us WHERE it's rubbing, because that also helps. Chances are its rubbing on the fenders due to improper camber control, and also rubbing on the inside tub in the front because the tires are too tall.

"Only lowered a little" doesn't help either. Try posting a picture to give us an idea.

Yes, there is a problem. Cross posting and posting multiple threads about the same goddamn thing are not okay on damn near any forum on the Internet, including this one.

Pull your damn fenders, add camber, or get a shorter ****ing tire. It's the same three solutions for almost every former issue! Period.

I ran 9 +30 on 225/45/17 beefy ass tires dumped on -3 degrees and rolled fenders. ****in figure it out

You still haven't told us what offset. The 225/40 will be narrower than the 235, and slightly shorter than what you currently have.

You could always try and see.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was both. The taller tire will definitely cause rubbing on the inside tub/liner.

Hmm so it'll be worth it for 225/40?
