Default Cobb data log

I have a cobb accessport I wanna do a data log and get an etune for my 2007 sti the only problem is I have a aps 65mm cai. The aps cai is not compatable with the ots maps which only support stock or cobb intake ( I do not have stock intake). The only way to do a data log is to load a map too... So I was thinking of loading stage 1 93 octane doing a data log and sending in for an e tune . Is this possible?

You should be able to data log stock map after the ap is married.

Take the intake off. Load stock map. Data log.

Send info to tuner, tell him which intake you have. He'll send you a map to get you close.

Install intake, load new map, data log. Send back to tuner, he'll tweak it.

Get new map back, flash it.

Good to go.

Was it tuned for the intake? If not then the stock tune or stage 1 will not be any worse for your car than what ur doing to it now.

to tune for an intake you need a wideband. if you dont have a wideband you can't tune it. The only other people that might sell ots tunes for your intake might be the manufacturer. you could also try loading the aem or cobb intake map. as long as ur not running extra lean it won't hurt your car. The narrow band afr sense should be saturated at 11 for the whole 100% pull. add more fuel at rpms that you see knock at. Not as good as wideband, but can probably keep car from blowing up.

You do not have to flash a tune to data log, just marry the AP to the vehicle.
