Recently picked up a JDM v7 front clip and am going to be putting everything in my '00 RS. I haven't started the swap yet but I am running into an issue where the wiring harness going to the rear was cut and I have a bundle of wires that I don't know their end destination.
I have spent a couple hours trying to find somewhere that maps wire colors to component so I can get everything merged but I have been unsuccessful. Does anyone have any info on this?

The JDM main engine wiring goes into the firewall on the opposite side, the right side.
If this is where your harness stops, you won't be able to do much with it. If this is not where it stops, you still won't be able yo do much with it, as it locates the cluster on the opposite side, the same goes about the ECU, etc. You're best off finding a cheap WRX harness and merging with that, namely, plug the engine harness at the main connectors into the WRX harness and use that, together with an available free WRX wiring harness diagram, to complete your swap. |
