Default Found something...

Hi All.

I was changing my oil today and while I was up and close and personal with my beast (02 WRX, stage 1 clutch, no other mods) I noticed a four inch long black tube maybe 1/2" diameter... It was not attached to anything, just laying in the tray in front of the rad (which I had replace about 3 months ago). Any thoughts on what it is? Did it just get left there by the garage or did it fall off something... should I be concerned?

Also, on the back side of the rad at the bottom there are two little "pipes" that come out and are curved upward. One has a red plastic cap on it. There other does not... is it supposed to be this way?

Thanks for your help!

Cheers Sarah

the metal upward tubes are for an automatic transmission equipped WRX. It's an aftermarket design that fits both models. as far as your tube, without a pic i do not know.

No idea on the tube. The small metal pipes mean you have a radiator for an automatic transmission car.

IF your car is an auto then they did not hook them up. If your car is a manual then don't worry about them.

No, you can, you just need to use imageshack or photobucket or some other hosting website.
