Default Headlight Issues

Hey I'm a sooby noob and one of my headlights just burnt out. I went out to autozone and purchased an H7 bulb

To be exact
Now when I went to change it I noticed that the bulb that's out and the bulb I purchased look like two different things.

You only needed to post this once, I deleted your other post in the sticky thread.
If your low beam bulb is out, which is what you are indicating in the pic, it is in fact an H7 and you bought the correct bulb (although the Silverstars are a waste of money and you should have just bought the generic H7's from the store). If you think the bulbs are different you're looking at the wrong one.

The H7 is indeed the correct bulb, IF someone didn't make some changes prior to you buying the car. If you got the car pre-owned then the previous owner might have installed a plug n play HID kit (or done a complete retrofit) meaning the bulb you removed was an HID bulb.

Can you take a picture of the 2 bulbs (don't open the new bulb yet so you can return it and get a better halogen bulb)

A picture of the housing would be helpful too since a plug n play HID setup doesn't change where the bulb inserts vs a retro fit which has a different socket for the bulb to go into.

Hey thanks for all the help. I'll get right on that picture.

Can I ask what's the differences between the bulb I purchased and the halogen bulb?
