Which version of the access port do you have?

v1- http://www.quackyboys.com/Comics/Ran.../xIMG_4595.jpg

v2 - http://www.bmrautowerkes.com.au/wp-c.../cobb_ap_2.jpg

Yes you can load maps via the access port, you plug it in to your obd port under you dash and it will allow you to check/change maps depending on mods.

Please OP, please please please do a serious amount of reading before you even consider using the cobb AP, while it is plug and play and fairly easy to use and understand, it could just as easily cause you problems judging by your in-experience with cars. (no offence meant)

I don't see "intake" on the mod list

my suggestion:
sell AP
use money to buy KillerB pickup and good open source tune

Cobb offers the users manual on their website, read it front to back twice.

I wouldn't be that concerned about flashing a tune if it's already tuned. (Especially being a bugeye) But, you could check and make sure it's properly loaded. You could also do some data logs (Cobb has a great tutorial on youtube about it) and post them in the Engine Management section for review.

If your car is burning a cat I have to report you to the ASPCA, it's the right thing to do.
