Default Ej20 Serial #...

IV searched and searched...where the heck can I find where the damn stamp is on my jdm ej20 from a v2 sti. I know where the "ej20" stamp is..but where can I find the full code?

Any help would be great!

In the ej207 thread, the v7-v9 guys say its on a sticker on the timing cover, maybe that applies too on the early models.

What are you trying to figure out about it? If its a v2 you will probably have more luck in the pre 2002 forum.

I want to verify that it is closed deck (im 95% sure as it has the hatching) engine. Only way to really do this is to get the engine serial # and reference it.
