Default sparkplugs..

when should spark pligs be changed on a EJ255? pretty sure they are the factory one as the previous owner wasn't an example of maintenance.. are the factory ones pltinum 100 000 miles??

the car has 40 000 miles

If they are to be replaced ? what would be my best option ? the car is has a cobb stg 1 and a CBE.

Here since 2003? Really?

NGK SILFR6A are Iridium/Platinum.

To some degree it depends on how hard the motor is run. Subaru advises 60K mi replacement. However, given my own use, plug examination has shown 30K mi replacement is necessary... with OEM plugs. At some point performance begins to degrade. Your choice of how crappy you want your car to run.
