Hi,

I am new to the site and fairly new to Subarus. I found this site from being a member of subaruforester.org. Anyhow, I have a 2010 Subaru Forester X model. I recently purchased some WRX take offs (shocks, springs, top hats, and rear spacers) and was wondering if there would be anyone in the southeast region that has maybe done the instal before that would be willing to help me out. I do want it done correctly but as cheaply as legible. I do have some stuff I can trade or I can pay or buy someone lunch or beer. If you would be interested in helping me make my foz AWESOME instead of just plain jane then pm me so we can set a date. I can discuss at that point what I have to trade.

At the very least can someone point me in the direction of a reputable shop that can do the work resonably priced? Say around 200.00 at most.

It's super easy dude. A shop will over charge you for something that might take you 4 hours of work. There are plenty of write ups if you just search.

I don't have any tools other than standard sockets and screw drivers. What tools do I need?

Go buy a good set of METRIC sockets and a good driver, I know your will need at least 1 19mm socket, odds are if you good how to disassemble your suspension you will find the necessary tools. I'm not sure about the compatibility of what your trying to do but first off make sure what you have bought will fit, it would suck to tare your car down to find out it won't bolt up.
