Default Access Port, Stage 2, Illinois Smog

Just moved to Chicago from Indianapolis. I am stage 2, with Cobb Accessport. Will I able to pass my Illinois smog check? I have searched for this, and can't seem to find anything, have to believe it has been covered before. Thanks!

It depends, is your exhaust catted?

AFAIK, in Illinois on an OBDII vehicle:

No CEL + Readiness checks completed = Smog test passed.

So as long as you have not reset your ECU in the last ~50-100 miles, and you don't have a CEL, you're good.

FYI...if your rear O2 fails, you will not get a CEL, but your car won't complete the readiness checks, and won't be able to be tested.

I had the downpipe and uppipe replaced with catless models. I think that means I have one cat.

It could be catless as long as: 1) No CEL, 2) Full Readiness Checks. That is it.

Bam!

False.
All you need is no cell aka "mil" lights on or stored on the ecu and all systems ready.

This I've passed twice since I've been catless, no biggie.

Not even all the monitors have to be passed. The evap monitor usually takes forever to actually run so we do cars all the time and take them to get tested without the evap set.
