The OEM original Subaru/ STi parts are excellent quality
*The STi Side Skirts slip on, quality hardware, smooth and flawless appearance.
*The STi Front lip. 31mm extended compared to Vlimited. Same quality as skirts.
*The STi Rear Fog fits well and is beyond easy to install. Used as 4th brake light.
*The STi Oil Cap is nice, inlcudes allen for access to use a socket for removal.
*The STi Shift Knob is leather and weighs in at 200g
*The STi Push Start button is simply style and convenience
*The Subaru Boost and Oil Temp. gauges are a perfect match to the cluster, responsive, and accurate.
*The STi Sport Muffler/ S206 Exhaust. STi engraved on all (4) tips, 3.75" diameter. No competition… One fine specimen of exhaust.

Considering the route of modifications, in some ways the base trim offered a better starting platform than the WRX STi. Beginning with a base model allowed modification to stay unique. The decisions were made to incorporate what Subaru Tecnica International would to the WRX trim, at my discretion. The most difficult part to my modification plan, is balance. Being unique, without taking the car out of character is the task. That means being pragmatic, still creative enough to achieve an aesthetically pleasing and powerful car.

Modifying... The mind set is to take the car to the next level. That is achieved without losing the essence of the STi. The addition of throwback gold Brembo calipers, and acquisition of original STi parts transformed this WRX into a car not available from the factory. The performance aspects of the car exceed expectations. Minus a few factory items, the car incorporates most bolt-on modifications, relying on the Dom 1.5 XT-R and E85 to stay competitive.

Car looks fantastic! Really like the stance, very functional looking. How is the ride quality on the RCE Tarmac II's?

Absolutely great build & the car looks amazing!!

How do you like the tarmac II's? And maybe I am misreading it, but what did you build up to KW variant 3 spec? Just the rears?

I am running the GTworx/Bilstein coilovers with RCE springs and I love it, but it lacks the adjustablity & am window shopping my next move haha

thanks... Thread was due.

Tarmac 2s are a fantastic option. I do not DD, and may be switching to 500/500lb springs. They would be very tolerable for most under DD conditions. Pay attention to the road and don't put them through unnecessary abuse. They'll be smooth and responsive as ever on the, eh, tarmac.

The STi S206 exhaust does not sound like the SPT. The SPT(I have never owned, just heard) is throaty and hollowed sounding, where the STi has been refined to eliminate gurgling and produces a much more fluent tone/bass. Decibel level is similar to SPT, quieter aftermarket exhaust options.

Finally, a thread! Should have made it sooner! I probably wasted an hour trying to figure out which wheels you had (before you posted this).

Each tune has reliability in mind. The original E85 pulls were 370/400 range and not too aggressive.

You should try a 50-100mph pull sometime. I'd be interested in seeing how it stacks up.
