i got a clear bra at 700 miles, IMO best decision yet.

Totally agree on the entire front end of the car. Mine cost about 700 after install, even though pricey, very worth it.

Can barely see it too!

You think I can buff right up the seam if and when I buff/polish the beast?

you can polish the clear bra...my entire front end is done on my brz and i use a portercable on it with no issues, you just have to use less aggressive pads/product on it as opposed to actual paint. otherwise dont use any carnuba based waxes...and you should be okay.

Buffing up the seam is typically fine. Depends on whether the paint, or clear bra, is being addressed.

Carnauba waxes are NOT the issue for clear bra. The dyes(sometimes yellow) and other chemicals really hurt/ discolor the bra. Use any wax the bra manufacturer states is acceptable. Commonly, any wax not recommended for urethane is a no go. That also apples to harsher/ cutting compounds as well.

Those may be a good reason to mask the seem, depending on how aggressive you need to get with the actual paint/ clear coat, compared to the bra. The seam will hold residue, and depending on the color of the product, really show! Usually it can be wiped away.

I read that entire 51 page iwsti thread about the push button today. It seems their is at least a few different options/kits available. Can you comment on which specific kit you used (link if possible) and if you did the proximity unlock/lock setup or the button on the door handle, etc.

Im not certain how this is to be conveyed... Its the AK system. The red STi button(s) do have variants. This one obviously has the color indicator light. I also have no idea if the actual KAC unit offered from Subaru is compatible with USDM models.

There are a few different options. When the AK unit(s) are used, many options open up. Personal preference and securities should drive the decision... Proximity is convenient no matter what. The push start module, alone, could be integrated with other alarm units, not just factory. The AK keyless unit provides customizable security options also. As with any product, the offerings differ.

Flex,

Did you use a bypass module or are you still using your factory key?

ARE YOU HONESTLY GETTING 43.2MPG!?!?

if so, after speculating over time whether or not to upgrade everything like you have, I now come to the conclusion that I will be doing this. ONLY IF, that gas mileage is true. haha

Downhill?? I got mine to say 75 mpg one time for a couple miles. Freaked some friends out.

Great build, great car, great style

He has bigger injectors, because of that the mpg calculator is off since its based off the stock injector size.

93oct cruising average is ~25mpg and the E85 is ~19mpg.

The Chicago times were fun... thread:http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2506891 The pros did work to capture a lot of the moments.

Negative on the big wing, car looks super clean and "simple"... Big wing is going to ruin the flow... Ts spoiler, vis demon trunk or wingless... DON'T DO A BIG WING!!!
