Great car great to see such attention to detail! Recently picked up my first Subara and I'm still kind of learning as I go. Was wondering what bulbs you used for your turn signals. Just picked up some yellow DRL's and I'd love for them to match up like yours. Thanks!!

The STi logo does light up... always has. Lol. There are a few instances where some do not realize the shift surrounds do. Its a good looking interior accent.

The turn signals are not yellow. The front profile shot makes it look that way due to lighting and the reflection of the turn signal bulb on the housing.

Yes, Overland was too.

However, suggestions should be encouraged. There are other options in that regard, just not necessary unless it's damaged or attempting to clean up the appearance. Preferences.

Ahh I didn't even pick up on it haha

I would suggest some JPM love for the interior and a new steering wheel perhaps

Will not happen. The work, the material, all quality by JPM. Not my interest though. Besides, A few well known members have made very good use of their services.

The wheel is a style and preference option. I have zero gripes with the current wheel. The look and feel of the dshape are outstanding. I'm a fan. DAMD wheel, and airbag swap tie in well. I do not mind the stars and round wheel. Haven't bothered with that area. I may.

Currently, a few interior related items are being addressed anyway. There is not much more to it. Considering the abundance of seat options/ideas, there has not been a decision, obviously.

Im being thorough with the decision making process. Functionality is priority. It's tough to not cross the lines. Especially when it can be seen and compared to what else is being done. The best aspect of modification is the free will to idealize, apply funds, and execute differently.

I 100% back the whole function before form myself as well, the engineer in me demands it! Haha it's not a crime to indulge yourself every now and again though and get something just cause you want it or like the look of it

Function, form... It is subtle but there is plenty of form here. Not enough to sacrifice wanted function.

Too much debate over those (2) words. The car is just as much a piece of art as it is a machine. Respect the entire concept.

What head unit?

Edit: Nevermind just looked at the first page. How did you get it to say STi? Is it something you can upload to it? Sorry never been an aftermarket stereo/ice person so I don't know.

The unit can upload images to be viewed as a slide show via usb/cd. Many have this capability. (1) image can be captured as a background. The STi image used was just for photo appeal.

A bit of image size editing needs to be done to have the images look good on the screen. The images will look blah compared to what was viewed on the computer. The unit alters the image based of view: Full, Zoom, etc and colors will be off. A few back and forth trips from photoshop to car will get close to perfection. It depends on the unit, each has image dimension range that looks more appealing with its resolution and display capabilities.

Also, this background is not ideal when functions/ tracks are displayed. The entire screen looks messy.

Retaining SWCs is simple. Axxess ASWC installed(wired into harness) will recognize the SWC buttons, and the BT buttons can easily be programmed for function.

The aftermarket mics are usually much better in regards to sound/voice quality. Their size may be a negative but I have installed it so that it does not interfere with the appearance and function of my dash. The unit was installed to make the interior more appealing. Factory mic integration was my plan, but Im pleased with the outcome.

There is a harness available to keep the factory mic, aux and USB if desired. PM: SVXdc.
