Best idea is to estimate what size box you will need and use a shipping calculator on UPS or USPS to get da money cost. Don't forget to factor in bubblewrap or whatever you choose to use to protect it.

Might be cheaper if he cuts it up into several 12" portions and ships with an USPS flat rate box.

There'd still be room to put a tube of epoxy in it so the buyer can just put it back together too. This is how I'd do it.

contact your preferred shipping service and see if they could develop something like a "shipping estimate calculator". My guess, if they had such a thing, is you could plug in the 'shipping from and destination to' zip codes, plus some sizes/weights of what your shipping and they just might give you an estimate.

Now only if something like that was available.....hmmmmmm....good luck with your search.

That's perhaps the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. The abacus has not been built that could handle that sort of calculation.

If I had to guess I'd say $38. That's if you ship the lip flat and don't fold it in half if it's PU.
