If there is going to be a January one. Last thing I heard there is no one to run the POTM thing for January.

Not that it matters for me - pretty sure this is going to be my last entry. I've been feeling less than inspired lately and it shows.

Yeah, I'm done after this one. I think this theme is a high note to leave from. Too much of a balancing act trying to find a theme that's interesting and can also have maximum participation. The winner pretty much never want to pick a theme for the same reasons.

I think if the prize were grand enough then people would be more willing to try. Maybe if prizes came from multiple sponsors. I am thinking we do need a Ride of the Month, though, where people can select their favorite pics of their cars and write a biography of it. One issue I see with that, however, are the several people I know that have been working on their cars for a while and are slowly completing them. We're such a small community that it's hard to just throw something like that out there without more-than-sufficient heads up.

I'm thinking a quarterly Ride of the Month? Or maybe just semi-annually? July and December? I think it's really cool that we get to see each other's rides and I want to keep some aspect of that going.

All of your input and honest opinions would be welcome.

Adams-STI & kayetealynn!

Thank you for sharing such unique and excellent photos!

I'm happy that so many people participated this time. It's always fun seeing recent pics of people's cars. Even if it's stock or hasn't been modded for a while (or even driven), it's just cool to see what you each take pride in.

We'll keep discussing future events. It seems like Kevin is taking over Picture of the Month, which is awesome! I really would like to do a semi-annual Ride of the Month-type contest, with prizes from several sponsors. A lot of guys work REALLY hard on making their cars look, sound and drive good. I think recognition is in order.

I'll talk with some vendors and see what I can do. I post enough in other places that I've been able to get a little chummy with some folks, so let's see what we can make happen!
