Right on buddy. I normally just browse this forum and have learned quite a bit from it in the short time I have owned my car and been a NASIOC club member. It was just baffling to me that a port director would set up a contract allowing work to be done within the sea port. Good to know this and thanks for the article.

What the hell does a port in Detroit and Charleston, SC have to do with Subaru who uses a port in California? I mean....really? Come on.

Kinda cool if you think about it that they could do limited runs of a special package or something like that because they have people doing accessory installs.

Rather than the delay like you have with Mini or Volvo because the car actually has to be built per spec, as long as the company can continue to supply "base" cars they can roll out special orders more quickly.

Both of these count on that steady supply though...
