Default DIY Refurbish 2006 wrx headlight


I now have a cracked headlight thanks to the hit and run driver. so now im left with no clue to fix this. is there a sticky DIY to change the housing or the cracked portion?

Not really, it's sold as a whole assembly unless you can find someone else who's parting out the assembly.

That's odd though it cracked the trim on the inside and not the plastic lens.

i too am puzzled why doesnt the plastic crack before the housing,though there is a scrub on the surface of the plastic.

The clear plastic lens is more elastic than the brittle inside plastic.

Anyways, use insurance. Get new headlight/fix the other damage.
