Default 60k mile maint done...1k miles later clutch goes out??

I'm not claiming foul play, nor am I fishing for a certain answer. My question is, is there anyway that the clutch going out 1k miles after my 60k mile maintenance, be due to negligence or improper service. Thanks for your comments!

Yes.

You get a service done : : the car feels great : : you drive it hard : : clutch lets go

Seems like the proper order of operations to me.

Well see the thing is I've never really molested the car. I've never dropped gears or launched it. Idk I was just looking for an opinion. That's all. Thanks for the insight

... they don't replace your clutch at the 60k service mark if that's what you're getting at

I just had my 60k service done as well. They do change all of the fluids and rotate the tires but don't touch your clutch. I think it is just a coincidence and a little paranoia that is leading you to believe this was caused by whoever worked on your vehicle

In many cases, when a clutch is already slipping and on its last legs, it'll go sooner at a much more accelerated rate, vs a normal clutch that would last some 100k miles if not more.

That said, at your mileage, you wont be able to prove anything, and just chalk it up to wear and tear.

61K and you already wore the clutch out? Quit riding / slipping the clutch and it will last longer.

If you bought it used there is lots of factors, typically you know when you buy it if the clutch has issues. Also depending on dealership lots of them have really good inspections that take place. New it's your fault. But we aren't talking new, 60k they don't touch your clutch. All it takes is one bad mis shift, it's very well possible to blow your clutch. Like said already chalk it to wear and tear. If you have mods done clutch possibility going out on 5 speed especially goes up 70% or do depending on power and load put on it. Good luck and hope you get fixed.

The part where you keep saying Nd instead of and. I think it's actually more time consuming to hold down the shift key and press n then release it and press d that it would be to just ****ing type and.
