Default multiple misfire codes

So i just purchased this car last week and it has a built bottem end with about 2k on it. It threw a check engine light and went into limp mode 3 times today. First was misfire in #1, #3, AND #4 cylinders. The second was for cylinders #1 and #3. The third one was just for cylinder #1. Any thoughts on why its doing this? maybe the tune?

Does the engine feel like it is running rough? Does it have a lightweight flywheel on it?

i believe it has a act flywheel, not sure if its light weight. it is rough between 2-3k rpms on light throttle, its butter above that. That may be because its got the stock fpr and the 08+ are known to have a stutter because of it, at least thats what the tuner told me. The car only throws these when cruising, not when im in it.

Have the injectors ever been swapped or removed? I ask because on my car, the injectors have been swapped quite a few times, and more recently when I installed the 1000's, one of the clips that holds the wire into the plug broke off, leaving one of the wires not making contact to the terminal. Upon tuning it, the car would randomly misfire, and I was scratching my head as to what was causing it. After searching for a bit, the wire caught my eye because it stuck out more than the others. Also, random misfires while crusing can also point to a ringland issue, espcially if it's P304 (Cylinder 3 misfire). I had the same sypmtoms as you, and it turns out number 3 was lowest on compression and highest on leakdown....Good luck sir.

I'm going to 1300cc injectors and getting re-tuned shortly so hopefully that takes care of the problem.

My motor was just rebuilt as well, but I've had these Mis fire issues as well.

My car only does it on 91, e85 no issues at all. My tuner also agrees that it is the fpr on the 08 that is causing it.

He has suggested to run a 3' fuel line from the feed line, as one of his customers has done this and the stutter went away.

Yeah, that is what my tuner wants me to get when I can get it. Ill wait on it and see if new tuner runs into the same issue.

(Old tuner moved to Oregon so kinda hard to get retuned)

Either that or i might just put a aftermarket fpr on it.

talked to my tuner today and he said not to worry about the fpr and it all can be taken care of in the tune.
