Default Reuse 70k+ mile A/C compressor or replace with 11k mile compressor?

Long story short, my 09 WRX with 70k+ miles is getting an engine swap due to rod knock. My replacement engine only has 11k miles on it and came with all of the accessories. I'm in the middle of removing the old engine and it hit me that I don't know if I really want to go through the hassle of replacing the A/C compressor.

My A/C worked fine before so, should I remove the belt and lay it to the side to reuse? Or, should I leave it on the old engine, pull the lines, and have the system recharged with the younger compressor on the newer engine?

Leave it, just flop it out of the way...

Two votes seems like a large enough sample to me. Looks like the extra parts shelf is going to get heavier.

Plug the ports on the one for storage to try and limit moister getting into it.
