Post Best Way to get a STI Wing for my 2011 WRX?

Hello,

I just recently bought a 2011 WRX and i'm looking to put an STI wing on it.
I have found a few carbon fiber wings but i'm leaning more towards keeping the clean look. I've heard that people can do trunk swaps, but at the same time finding someone with a 2011 STI that's willing to trade and somewhat close can take a long time. Anyone have any suggestions?

Just tryin to have some fun

Ebay sometimes has them, but who knows what's real or fake (chinese knockoff) on there... best bet is still a trunk swap.

Idk if anyone has bought from these guys, but this is what you're looking for:

Fill out your profile so we know where you are locally. The NESIC forum has a trunk swap sticky thread. that's the absolute easiest way to do it.

Short of that:

1) Find stranger with STi
2) Break into car and pop trunk
3) Remove trunk and replace with yours
4) ??
5) Profit... from the lawsuit you lay on that guy after the beating he gives you for stealing his trunk.

Why in the hell would you want an STi wing on your wrx is beyond me. I'm not even sure I'd keep the wing if I had an STi.

Different strokes for different folks. My wrx is wingless because I love having a car that looks like a sleeper but screams like a v8

Fill out your profile.
Goto your local chapter's forum. Click classifieds. And look at the trunk trade thread.

If you wait long enough, you'll get it for free. Or you can pay 2-1000 for the look.

You may want to post in your local forum. You posted in NESIC, which is probably about 1500 miles outside your "willing to drive locally to meet" range...
