Talking Subaru impreza 2.5 RS

Hi Newbie here,

i am thinking about buying a subaru impreza 2.5 rs.

looking at the older models and maybe the newer models.

what are the common price ranges for a 98-2000 and then an older model.

also how much is the maintenance and etc.

thank you again and if a thread like this was already posted just redirect me please.

Very very vague questions. There is no set price to a certain year of car. There are many dependents (mileage, previous maintenance records, etc)
Please update us with many more details and some pictures wouldn't harm anything.

huge range of price on those cars. Really depends on where you live. You should go fill in your info. All i know is that up here in Washington, bugeye wrx and the older 2.5rs are almost the same price from private sellers. i even saw one sell for ten grand at a dealership.

I look up cars on autotrader.com first just to get an idea of what the market is in the area. It will give you a ballpark estimate considering mileage, motor, condition...

www.kbb.com for pricing.

Maintenance can run anywhere from $0 up to a billion dollars a month.

But seriously, the older models had head gasket issues, and will obviously require a little more work, especially if things like the timing belt service ($1000) and such need to be done.

Also, fill out your profile so we know where you are. Then check your regional forum for sales. Saying that you're looking at older models and maybe newer models doesn't really give us anything to go on.
