I was wondering if anyone knew how much the calipers and pads are for these brakes? Any vendors out there know this question? And is it worth it to buy the Brembos or the wilwood/perrin kit? Anyone?

The fact you compare the Wilwood/Perrin kit to the STi Brembo's is hilarious.
The wilwood/perrin kit is a kit designed to fit the stock wheels with a stock size rotor. It's obviously a very low cost solution. The STi Brembo's fit only 17" or larger wheels, and only ones with lots of spoke clearence. The rotor is almost two inches larger than the stock size rotor. These will likely set you back in the area of over $2400 just for the fronts. Don't even ask about the rears. If you want comparisons, the true Wilwood 6-pot/4-pot kit can be compared to the full STi Brembo front and rear setup.(4-pot/2-pot). |

My understanding is that you can't even use the rear Brembo's unless you pretty much have the entire rear diff ass'y, half shafts, knuckles, etc.
As Zahnster, said, the fronts are pretty much a wheel clearance issue, if you have the rotors & calipers, you should be able to at least use those. |

As CKTAG said the rear installation is theoretically a nightmare.

The DBA rotor numbers are 654 and 655 for the front and rear respectively. I am pretty sure DBA manufactures the rotors that are oem for the Brembos. The rotors and pad sets can be found at: www.wrxrsparts.com/BRAKES Get ready to break out some large green. subysouth |

Yup! Nevermind! I think I am going to go with the STi calipers front and rear because replacement rotors from subaru are 240 a PIECE and like 250 a SET for pads. Not gunna pay that! STi 22b calipers here I come! Or in this aspect which would be better? Perrin/wilwood or STi calipers?

I would get the Subaru 4pots. In the same price range you might also want to consider the Baer front kit. Baer is working on a rear kit allegedly.

Thanks a bunch! I mostly want these for looks but also want to be able to stop when I want to, not when the car wants to. I have been looking at all of these kits for about a month now and think I will go with the good ole' subarus. I found a front and rear set for 1500 with SS lines so i think I might jump on that.
