Default hood struts?

Does anyone know who makes hood struts for Subaru? The little research I've done had led me no where thanks guys

I've Tein hood dampers on my car. http://www.tein.com/products/hood_damper.html

Not sure if this is what you meant by hood struts though.

People rant and rave about the tein ones

However some people swear by eBay or even autozone

I have the redline ones, installed when I got the car 3 years ago. They have worked great since day one.

Bought some at AutoZone, just choose a longish one and it worked fine.

JNA performance has good prices on Redline hood struts
I just got my set in and they work flawlessly, only paid round $60-$70.

Ixizhood. Mine have been on for something like 8 years and still perfect.

If you're not buying a kit, what/where are your attachment points? Can someone post a close up of the mounting please?

THanks

I'd definitely get some that do not require any drilling. I had Gruppe-S struts until they wore out recently. I searched the world over and the best bang for your buck are the ones Ixiz sells, IMHO.

I got a set from Josh (ImportImageRacing) ... I Love e'm, they aren't made by Tein, they are the cheaper version he sells, but they install exactly the same.

I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

PM IMPORTIMAGE, I think they were like $80.

I love my Red Line kit. Yes there is some drilling, but it's minor. Install is a breeze. The kit is super high quality and beats the sit out of the Tein and other Chinese kits I've run across. All coated and rust free hardware. OEM quality struts too, which is rare.
